Mechanical & Engineering DesignIn addition to working with Marketing and upper management, we also work directly with Engineering and Manufacturing to support their artwork needs. We have completed hundreds of packaging artwork, pad and silkscreening artwork, and artwork for Engineering prototypes. We've also produced artwork for promotional pieces and physical models requiring high levels of accuracy. |

Solution: Pad Printing ArtworkWe've created hundreds of drawings for the artwork that is pad or silkscreen printed on the actual products themselves. Much of this artwork was our own design and approved by the client, which is very gratifying. The dimensional and registration accuracy requirements are very high for this type of drawing. |

Solution: Physical ModelsThe client wanted some larger-than-life physical models of 0.5" long components for display at trade shows. Using engineering drawings of the components, we designed and spec'd a drawing that was used to turn three 20" models from wood. These were painted to match the components. We applied sign vinyl color bands and lettering to recreate the laser-printed identifier information. |

Solution: Prototype Label ArtworkWe were provided with functionality and mechanical constraints of the physical controls to be mounted to the front. We then designed the nomenclature to support that functionality and controls. |

Solution: Mechanical SlidechartThis slide chart is one of the most challenging projects from an artwork accuracy perspective. The client wanted a promotional handout that was actually useful to their customer. We had looked at the pricing from the leading U.S. slide chart supplier. We felt we could do much better for both design and production. When completed, the project cost about one-half what it would have from that supplier. The positioning of the data on the slide given the multiple windows on the case in which the data shows through must be very precise. |
