The type and amount of production work that goes in to catalogs has largely stayed the same; only the quantities printed have changed (downward), to zero in some cases, with distribution done electronically, in PDF form. Solution: Full Line CatalogThis 626-page full line catalog is an example of the shift from distribution in print to less costly electronic (pdf and web-based) means. This project, including 2,200 performance curves and graphs generated from raw engineering data, product photos, 3D product models, spec and description edits, and full book production was completed in 90 days, start to finish, and delivered on time and on budget. This was the last time this client printed a their full line catalog. |
