Graphic DesignInformational SignageWe've been fortunate to be involved with two projects for the Damariscotta River Association; one for an informational sign regarding the annual migration of the alewives from the ocean back to the Damariscotta Lake to spawn, and the second regarding the unique Estuarine System of the Great Salt Bay at the head of the Damariscotta River. We've also been fortunate to produce a number of booth graphics, vehicle signage, and signs for an all-you-can-eat seafood restaurant. |

Solution: Interpretive SignThis interpretive sign was commissioned by the Damariscotta River Association to be displayed at the trailhead along a portion of the shoreline of the Great Salt Bay. We were responsible for researching the background of the estuarian system, the species and environmental data, and developing the graphics. The sign was output to inkjet, laminated, and mounted in a Plexiglas® case. This subassembly in turn, was mounted to an aluminum framework attached to a 4x4 post. The completed sign is seen by thousands of visitors to the Estuarian System each year. |
